Become A Foster Parent

FOSTER HOMES DESPERATELY NEEDED...

Because all of our dogs and cats are kept in temporary homes until their adoption, we are limited in the number of animals we can save from euthanasia in the shelters by the lack of volunteers who will keep a pet in their home until a permanent home is found. Everything the dog or cat needs is provided by our rescue and there is no expense for the foster family. We have a Meet and Greet Event once a month and most of our animals adopt quickly. We occasionally have dogs or cats with special needs who will need longer foster care. We work with our fosters to place animals in their homes who "fit" with their lifestyle and situation.

Foster parents are the core of our program.
A Foster is matched with an animal in our program, the foster is to socialize, occasionally provide basic training (name recognition, come, sit, etc.) and give them a comfortable loving temporary living place.

New Fosters will go through an orientation and have contact with an experienced mentoring foster volunteer.
